Living Spaces is opening a new furniture showroom at 8320 Delta Shores Cir S in south Sacramento, taking over the roughly 85,303 square foot building long occupied by At Home at the Delta Shores shopping center. A liquor license filed under LSF Food & Beverage, LLC on September 15 points to something beyond a standard furniture floor: a Living Spaces Café, the chain’s in-house restaurant concept built right into select showrooms.

Living Spaces Café isn’t available at every location, currently operating in 14 stores across the country, but where it exists, it functions as a full-service, affordably priced restaurant attached to the furniture floor. Nothing on the menu runs more than three dollars, spanning snacks like tortilla chips with salsa or guacamole up to heartier entrees, alongside coffee, soft drinks, and a beer and wine selection that’s included craft options like Ballast Point Sculpin IPA in other markets. Shoppers who spend $100 or more on furniture the same day can even get their food and drink cost deducted from the bill.

Delta Shores has continued filling out as a retail and housing hub on Sacramento’s southern edge, anchored by a Walmart Supercenter and a growing lineup of national chains and restaurants, with easy freeway access off Interstate 5 helping support big-box anchors like this one. The tenant swap keeps a national home-focused anchor in place at the center, just trading At Home’s high-turnover decor format for Living Spaces’ larger showroom and delivery-driven model.
