Skims, the shapewear and clothing brand founded by Kim Kardashian, could open its first Sacramento-area store inside the Westfield Galleria at Roseville, according to a building permit application filed for 1151 Galleria Blvd, Suite 128. No opening date has surfaced yet, though the filing marks the clearest sign so far that the brand is moving toward a local debut.
The Culver City-based company has grown into a global name since launching, now operating more than 100 stores worldwide and selling shapewear, undergarments and clothing for both women and men. Its nearest existing location to the Sacramento region sits in the Bay Area, making Roseville a notable expansion into the Central Valley market.
Skims has leaned heavily into brick-and-mortar growth over the past two years, opening flagship and mall locations across major U.S. cities and even overseas, including a London store that debuted this past summer. A Roseville location would place the brand alongside a wave of national retailers filling space in the Galleria’s recently renovated promenade.
The mall has drawn a string of new tenants in 2026, part of a broader push to reposition the property with entertainment and lifestyle brands rather than relying solely on traditional apparel retail. A Skims store would add a major beauty-and-fashion name to that lineup, likely drawing shoppers from across the greater Sacramento area who’ve previously had to travel to the Bay Area for the brand.
