H-E-B is planning an interior remodel at its San Antonio store on Northwest Military Highway, according to a recently registered Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation project.

The project, listed as “HEB San Antonio 31 Remodel,” is planned for the existing H-E-B location at 8503 NW Military Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78230.

According to the filing, the renovation will involve approximately 3,830 square feet of interior space and carries an estimated construction cost of $572,000. The project is privately funded and will take place on private property.

Construction is currently scheduled to begin November 6, 2026, with completion targeted for December 31, 2026.

The filing describes the scope simply as an “interior remodel of existing HEB store.” No additional details about specific improvements, departments, fixtures, or customer-facing changes were provided in the project registration.

The property owner is listed as Fulcrum Property Group Inc., with a San Antonio address. pb2 architecture + engineering, based in Rogers, Arkansas, is listed as the design firm.
