The annual Half Marathon and 5K run is back in San Diego. Runners of all levels are invited to have an unforgettable experience. A Sunday run against the beautiful backdrop of San Diego and its vibrant downtown is an opportunity to challenge oneself while enjoying every second.

Highlights

  • Be a part of the Half Marathon or 5K run on Sunday, March 23. Those who are not able to join physically can still participate virtually.

San Diego running tradition continues whole year with different types of races and marathons. In March 2025 also the tradition continues with Half Marathon and Pardes 5K. Whether someone runs daily or this will be their first time, it is worth the shot!

Interested participants can choose from Half Marathon or 5K as both will cover different amount of distances and have different time limits. There is a three and a half hour time limit for half marathon. This means that a minimum of 16:02 minute-per-mile pace has to be maintained by each participant.

The time limit for 5K is one hour. Each participant is expected to have a minimum speed of 19:21 minute-per-mile.

The Half Marathon and 5K will begin from Harbor Drive. Runners will pass through Harbor Island, NTC Park, and Barnett Avenue. Then, they will run through downtown San Diego, crossing Balboa Park. The race will then end at Gaslamp Arch, after the 6th Avenue.

Virtual Race

Anyone who is unable to join the marathon in San Diego can join in virtually. They can run at their own pace, in their own time, and their favorable location.

Virtual racers can also choose from half marathon and 5K. Their SWAG kit will be mailed if they will not be able to pick it up.

Expo/Packet Pickup

Participants are expected to pick up their bib number and SWAG beforehand. Packets can be availed before the race on Sunday, two days, that is, Friday and Saturday. If any participant is unable to collect their kit, they can handover a copy of their ID to any acquaintance who can pickup the packet on their behalf.
