Fresh on the heels of opening doors at The Seventh House in North Park this weekend, Chef and Restaurateur Alberto Morreale already has plans for another project on familiar turf in La Mesa.

According to a recent ABC permit application, Buonasera Cucina will replace Tiramisu Trattoria just steps from Morreale’s other restaurant Farmer’s Table on La Mesa Boulevard.

While details on the new concept are scarce for the time being, SanDiegoVille reports Buonasera Cucina will serve authentic Italian cuisine along with wine and imported beers.

Originally from Palermo, Sicily, Alberto Morreale got his start in the San Diego restaurant scene working in various San Diego Dining Group establishments like Osteria Panevino and Greystone Steakhouse.

Morreale operates the farm-to-table restaurant Farmer’s Bottega in Mission Hills, plus La Mesa restaurants Smokey & The Brisket, Farmer’s Table, and a Mexican-inspired concept that is TBA.

While Buonasera Cucina has no web or social media presence as of yet, the restaurant is reportedly projected to open in Late 2022. For now, San Diegans can indulge in brunch at the opulent new bar and restaurant The Seventh House in North Park starting this weekend. Visit their Instagram for more information.
