San Diego’s Culture Brewing Company appears to have changed owners after 11 years, leaving behind three tasting rooms, including two in San Diego.
The company that was founded by John Niedernhofer, Steve Ragan, and Dennis Williams has been sold to Anthony Dellamano, a former executive for Woodstock Pizza, and his wife, Jenna Wolfe Dellamano, a former investment advisor, according to SanDiegoVille. The husband-and-wife duo doesn’t plan on any changes to the existing three locations in Solana Beach, Encinitas, and Manhattan Beach. Eventually, they hope to add food options to some or all locations.
“My wife and I moved our family here about five years ago and have always been drawn to Culture Brewing,” Anthony Dellamano tells SanDiegoVille. “It is a central community meeting place for everyone in Solana Beach, and we’re very excited about that. Personally, I’ve been in the restaurant business my entire career, so I’m excited to bring a new food component to Culture Brewing in the near future. We hope to grow it either by more tasting rooms or brewpubs but still keep it small and intimate to our local communities. We brew fantastic beers and have a super cool vibe, so we just want to keep doing that.”
Culture Brewing Company, at one point, opened a location in Ocean Beach, but that location has since closed. The company can be found in San Diego at its flagship brewery and on-site tasting room in Solana Beach at 111 S Cedros Ave, Suite 200, as well as in Encinitas at 629 S Coast Highway 101. The San Diego-based company also opened a new location in Manhattan Beach in early 2021. All three existing locations offer a variety of the company’s different beer selections. Anthony Dellamano will use his previous experience as Woodstock’s former COO to operate the company.
