Laine’s Bar-B-Que is the latest local business added to the lineup at Maker Kitchens new Midway District location, Hancock Kitchens

Owner Barbara Davidson says this is her first foray into offering a takeout-only system. Laine’s Bar-B-Que has primarily offered private event catering and served as a pop up at local events in the past.

Once open at Hancock Kitchens, Laine’s will offer salads, sandwiches and the BBQ basics like tri tip, pulled pork, and ribs for takeout and delivery. For traditional sides, Laine’s will have BBQ beans, potato salad, greens, and corn on the cob. From there Davidson will see which menu items work best and will continue to add to the menu with time.

Hancock Kitchens is finalizing construction and permitting for Laine’s Bar-B-Que is pending approval. Service at the site is expected to begin in January 2023. Find Laine’s Bar-B-Que on Instagram for more information.
