Eat Crispy Burger, a locally owned smash burger-focused eatery, is getting ready to open even more locations throughout San Diego County.

The Encinitas-based burger shop is nowhere close to slowing down, with at least four locations in the works at the moment. Previously, What Now San Diego reported co-owners Angela Ablahad and Ramzy Rahib opening a new location in the Convoy District, followed by a third site in Oceanside. Additional locations coming to Downtown and Eastlake were rumored but never confirmed. Now that we’re halfway through the year, the company’s expansion plans have become a little more clear.

The company’s second location in Kearny Mesa at 4898 Convoy Street, Suite 103, is still in the process of opening and is expected to be the first to do so. After this, the company plans to open in Oceanside in the former home of Miss Kim’s by That Boy Good at 207 N. Coast Highway. The company is now working on a new site in National City, according to SanDiegoVille. The new location is set to move into the former home of Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers at 327 Mile of Cars Way. This will be the company’s first store with a drive-thru ordering system. Finally, Eat Crispy Burger is working on a new location in La Jolla, replacing Spitfire Tacos within Regents Plaza Marketplace at 4150 Regents Park Row, Ste 175.

While the company currently has one location in Encinitas at 905 Orpheus Avenue, it’s been enough to grow the brand’s popularity so much that it has become known as one of the best burgers in San Diego. Now, with officially four new locations coming soon, Eat Crispy Burger is set to take over the city with its delicious yet simple menu. Customers can expect flat-top seared smash burgers served on house-baked brioche buns and customized with bacon, avocado, jalapenos, pastrami, and more, plus a handful of sides and drinks. The four new locations are expected to open before the end of the year.
