Stoneridge Shopping Center in Pleasanton is set to welcome a new dining addition with the upcoming opening of ONIGILLY Japanese Kitchen in 2026.

The Simon Property, located at 1600 Stoneridge Mall Road, will soon be home to the Japanese kitchen, known for its onigiri, traditional rice balls filled with ingredients such as shrimp, salmon, and mushrooms, according to a press release sent to What Now San Francisco.

ONIGILLY has built a reputation for offering quick, flavourful Japanese comfort food, centered around its signature handheld rice balls, which guests can enjoy all year round.

In addition to ONIGILLY, Maruwu Seicha is also expected to join the center as a Japanese tea and dining concept, while retailers such as Hollister are set to open later in the year alongside existing tenants, including ZARA, Lululemon, UNIQLO, and Fabletics.

The newest line-ups follow a strong year of growth for Stoneridge Shopping Center in 2025, which saw several new openings, including Grind Coffeehouse, POP MART, Shiekh Shoes, Balabala, Carter’s, and Funshare Arcade.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the franchise owner, Louwee Guevarra, for additional details, including an official opening date, but had not received a response at the time of publication.
