B’s Bagels & Butters plans to relocate from 3308 Uddenberg Ln. to the former O’Looney’s Irish Pub at 3222 56th St. in Gig Harbor, according to The News Tribune.
Owner Brittany Erwin told What Now Seattle that she hopes to open the new shop in spring 2027. Renovations are just beginning, so the schedule could change.
Erwin began developing B’s in 2021 after working as a chef in Tacoma for five years. The business moved into its current suite in 2022, opened in 2023, and quickly outgrew the space.
The current location measures 1,600 square feet, but shared restroom space leaves approximately 1,200 square feet for the business. The new location will have approximately 3,600 square feet, more than double the usable space at the current shop. Seating will increase, and customers will have access to a larger parking area.
The larger kitchen will also allow B’s to begin selling wholesale bagels to local coffee shops. “This is something people have been asking us since day one,” Erwin said.
Erwin also plans to add soups, sides, pastries, and other baked goods. Challah bread will become a daily offering and will appear in dishes such as challah French toast. The breakfast selection will grow, and eggs for breakfast sandwiches will be fried to order.
The shop specializes in small-batch, hand-rolled East Coast-style bagels. Its current menu includes cream cheese schmears, compound butters, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and coffee from Bluebeard Coffee Roasters.
The store also carries products from local businesses and displays artwork by local artists.
Although the new shop will no longer be in Gig Harbor’s downtown waterfront district, Erwin expects the parking and location to make visits more convenient.
“We’re going to be a lot easier to get to and faster in and out,” she said.
