SUDA, a new Thai restaurant and bar from the team behind TemSib Eatery & Bar, plans to open in October at 1020 108th Ave. NE, Suite 100, in Bellevue. Co-owner Kay Fuengarom confirmed the timeline to What Now Seattle.

TemSib closed on August 31 before work began on the new concept. The address and ownership will remain the same.

“This isn’t goodbye — it’s the beginning of something new. We’re excited to introduce SUDA, a fresh new concept that will bring a new experience, new flavors, and a new chapter to the same space, ” the TemSib and SUDA team wrote in an announcement on Instagram.

According to SUDA’s website, family recipes and familiar Thai flavors will guide the kitchen as the chefs experiment with different ideas and ingredients found in the Pacific Northwest.

Bell Predawan will serve as executive chef. In an introduction shared on SUDA’s Instagram, the team said her cooking comes from the Thai food she grew up with and the recipes passed through her family. Predawan later spent years exploring the cuisine and developing her own approach.

The restaurant has already previewed its Wagyu Jaew Rice. Other dishes and cocktails remain in development while the space undergoes renovations.

In the meantime, follow SUDA on Instagram for updates.
