Duet, a new deli and coffee bar from Porter, plans to open this October at 1301 Second Ave. inside JPMorgan Chase Center in downtown Seattle. Kathleen Selke, founder and vice president of sales at Porter, confirmed the timeline to What Now Seattle.

Porter designs and operates hospitality and amenity spaces within commercial and residential buildings.

Its flagship hospitality concept, The Shop by Porter, is also in downtown Seattle. The location has an all-day café, shared workspaces, meeting rooms, a retail shop, and areas for public and private events.

Duet, meanwhile, will operate as a weekday deli and coffee bar serving breakfast and lunch.

Mornings at Duet will begin at 7 a.m. with coffee from Onyx Coffee Lab, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches. At 11 a.m., the deli will begin serving hot and cold sandwiches, soups, salads, and sides made with Pacific Northwest ingredients.

The menu includes a four-cheese grilled cheese made with Beecher’s cheddar, Gruyère, mozzarella, and Parmesan on Grand Central sourdough. Other options include a smoked salmon bagel, California breakfast burrito, black pepper pastrami Reuben, teriyaki chicken sandwich, and mushroom and fontina melt.

Duet will also offer drop-off and in-suite catering for meetings, client lunches, and events. In the retail area, guests can find candles, cards, and small gifts.
