With a total of three locations, Riverside Seafood & Chicken is “your family’s favorite spot for incredible seafood in Lakeland and the tastiest chicken in town.” The brand appears to be continuing to expand in Lakeland with its fourth overall restaurant. Plan review paperwork submitted by Riverside Memorial LLC shows a new Riverside location opening at 2050 W Memorial Blvd.

Choices ordered most frequently from the Riverside menu include the Shrimp Platter (10 pc shrimp, fries & coleslaw), the Riverside Bowl (fish, shrimp, or chicken served with rice, beans, onions, and peppers), Shrimp Pasta, and a Shrimp Poboy. But that’s only a few items from a considerable menu that offers something for everybody.

“Since 2001, Riverside Seafood has redefined Tampa’s seafood scene,” the Riverside website says. “Born from our passion for quality and convenience, we blended the experience of a sit-down restaurant with the speed of quick service.”

The result is a restaurant “Where Every Moment Feels Exceptional.”

Opening in the West Memorial Boulevard location, on the southeast corner of the intersection with North Wabash Ave, Riverside would join nearby fast-food restaurants like Burger King and Taco Bell.
