Burgers n’ Fries Forever (BFF), a Canadian fast-casual restaurant chain that began in Ottawa in 2013, is preparing to open two new locations in the Greater Toronto Area.
Jamil Bhuya founded BFF to offer a diverse and inclusive dining experience, drawing inspiration from Bhuya’s global culinary adventures. The brand emphasizes halal, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-friendly options, aiming to cater to a wide range of dietary preferences. Currently, the company has two locations, one in Ottawa and another in Toronto at 106 John Street, which recently reopened after renovations. Both locations are known for their vibrant atmosphere and commitment to quality.
Now, the company is getting ready to double its size by adding two new locations. The company will start with a new location coming to Downtown Toronto’s Liberty Village at 49 East Liberty Street, which was initially supposed to be a new location of the legendary Montreal shawarma brand, Boustan, but those plans failed to materialize, according to BlogTO. This will be BFF’s second Toronto location, and it’s expected to open in May 2025. The company landed in Toronto in 2018 and has since earned a solid reputation amongst its customers.
After this, Burgers n’ Fries Forever will start to focus its time and energy on opening a new location in Barrie, according to a recent update from the company’s social media. It’s unclear exactly where this location will be or when it will open, but the update shows the space is currently under construction. This site will likely open sometime in Summer 2025. When it does, customers can expect a vibrant atmosphere that reflects the brand’s commitment to inclusivity and creativity. The menu will continue to feature globally inspired burgers and hand-cut fries, offering options for various dietary preferences, including halal, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free.
