Pho Ngoc Yen, a renowned Vietnamese restaurant in Mississauga and Ontario, is set to open a new location in Toronto at the intersection of Adelaide and Peter.
The company’s third location is set to open in Spring 2025, hoping to launch the new site sometime next month as the construction phase is nearly complete, according to BlogTO. Established in 2017, it has quickly become a staple for authentic Vietnamese cuisine in the Greater Toronto Area, earning accolades such as being ranked the #1 Vietnamese restaurant in Mississauga and being included in Yelp Canada’s Top 100 Places to Eat from 2018 to 2023. Now, the ownership team will expand the concept with its first Toronto location.
Pho Ngoc Yen specializes in authentic Vietnamese cuisine, featuring key dishes such as short rib pho, BBQ chicken with fried coconut sticky rice, grilled mussels, and gỏi bò (beef salad). The menu also includes vegan-friendly options such as bún chả cá chay made with house-made tofu and seaweed “fish” cakes. Executive Chef Tri Tran brings over 25 years of experience, blending Vietnamese tradition with influences from French and Italian fine dining. The restaurant uses high-quality Canadian ingredients, including AAA beef.
Despite its industrial Mississauga location, Pho Ngoc Yen offers a warm, resort-inspired atmosphere with wood paneling, greenery, bamboo accents, and twinkle lights. The family-owned restaurant is known for its friendly, attentive service and welcoming environment. Building on its success, Pho Ngoc Yen is now preparing to open a third location, following its second site in Ontario. The high-traffic area is ideal for attracting office workers, tourists, and residents seeking quality Vietnamese food.
