Ten Five Hospitality is making quite a splash in the DMV dining scene. The busy restaurant group just debuted two new DC concepts and already has its next area project on the horizon-though its precise nature has not yet been revealed, reports the Washington Business Journal.
The unnamed establishment will be taking over the 3125 M Street NW space that previously housed Ri Ra Irish Pub. While locals will, of course, be chomping at the bit to learn more about the new tenant, they are likely to be excited to see any action returned to the storefront, which has been vacant since early 2020.
A liquor license placard in the window does establish that-if nothing else-future customers can anticipate grabbing an adult beverage in the concept. Described as a “Class ‘C’ tavern” on the paperwork, the bar will have seating for up to 105 guests and a total occupancy of 140.
Georgetown residents are in good hands with Ten Five Hospitality-the group has proven itself both extremely capable and quite varied. It previously brought its Western concept, Desert 5 to DC. The recently opened Oak Room is “a classic, high-end American grill”, and Bernadette’s is a European influenced piano bar. Whether or not the Georgetown newcomer will be an established Ten Five Hospitality concept or something brand-new remains to be seen. What Now DC has reached out to ownership and will update readers as details emerge.
