Award-winning California brewing company Fall River Brewing Co. will join Redding Public Market at 1551 Market St once construction is complete. The brewery is anticipated to open in the summer of 2024.

What started in 2011 as a small home brew on the front porch of Amanda and John Hutchings has grown into a successful independent brewery with a taphouse on Cypress Avenue and a brewery on Eastside Road. The Public Market location will be Fall River’s third location in Redding.

“Fall River Brewing Company is thrilled to join Redding Market Center. Our beers have scaled mountains, floated downstream, been fireside, and are part of all the little moments that make up a well-lived life. We’re excited to embark on this adventure because we’re about connecting people and crafting memorable experiences.” Hutchings said in a release published by K2 Development Companies, the firm spearheading development and leasing of the upcoming public market.

Since its establishment, Fall River Brewing has always had community at its heart. “Our participation is a natural extension of our mission. We’re excited to help make Redding Market Center a must-visit destination for lovers of great beer, food, and local culture” said John and Amanda Hutchings of Fall River Brewing Company.” Hutchings stated.

Spaces at the upcoming Redding Public Market are almost fully occupied. 32 Below, a north Redding ice cream brand, will also join in the summer.
