A new DBA filing can be found for “Tandem Coffee & Wine” for a space at 3100 Folsom Blvd in Sacramento. The business is owned and operated by Karlyn Worl, who told What Now Sacramento that no opening timeframe is available at this stage as the team is trying to narrow down a few key pieces.

Based on business registration documents, the new coffee house and wine bar will also serve food. What Now Sacramento sent Worl an email inquiry for more details, but hadn’t heard back by the time of this coverage. So stay tuned — as we will update with new information once we have more details.

The new cafe sits in the same lot where a Fedex office is located and is right next to the UC Davis Medical Group complex, adding a much needed dining and relaxing spot to the location. The space was previously Peet’s Coffee and Tea, which closed last August, according to the Business Journal.

Other dining options nearby include OBO’ Italian Table & Bar, Kru Sushi, and Jayna Gyro across the street, a small cider bar called Nitty’s a block away, and a few quick service options on the other side of Allhambra Blvd, including KFC, IHOP, and Habit Burger.
