Serving up licorice, candy, artisanal chocolate, macarons and made-to-order cakes suited for special occasions, Miette Patisserie and Confiserie will soon open a new shop in Oakland

According to broker Judy Chu of Goldenland Investment, Miette Patisserie and Confiserie has purchased a new, 4,380-square-foot location at 151 10th Street in Oakland, though the opening date has not yet been announced.

Owner Meg Ray founded Miette Patisserie and Confiserie in 2003. Almost ten years later, locals line up for homemade sweet treats at this counter-serve patisserie.

Until the 10th Street location opens its doors, Miette Patisserie and Confiserie can be found in San Francisco’s Ferry Building Marketplace and Hayes Valley, Oakland’s Montclair Village, and in Larkspur’s Marin Country Mart.
