Regional Mexican favorite, Miguel’s Jr, is set to open its fifth Orange County outpost – and twenty-second in total – later this summer at 1766 E McFadden Ave in Santa Ana, according to a recent press release shared with What Now Orange County.

“One of the key drivers behind our continued growth and expansion is the community’s steadfast support and genuine love for our food,” Javier Vasquez, president and CEO of Miguel’s Jr said in a statement. “We still serve my mother’s cherished recipes inspired by her childhood in Central Mexico, and we look forward to sharing them with our Santa Ana neighbors.”

Coming into its 50th year as a family-owned and operated business, the new Miguel’s Jr. Santa Ana location – conveniently located near the Santa Ana Metrorail station – spans 3,200 square feet and will offer indoor dining and a drive-thru window for a delicious way to experience authentic Mexican cuisine while on the go.

What’s more, new and old fans of the brand alike will be able to find their favorite dishes created by co-founder and Chief Recipe Officer Mary Vasquez, including hearty breakfast burritos made with farm-fresh, cracked eggs, and paired with a signature Coffeechata, the perfect blend of homemade horchata with freshly brewed coffee.

Meanwhile, for lunch, folks can savor fresh, premium ingredients used throughout the menu in all day fan-favorites including Mary’s famous burritos made with beans that are slow-cooked twice daily to ensure perfection, grilled-to-order tacos, taquitos, quesadillas, and more.

Miguel’s Jr. also offers homemade horchata and all-natural lemonades made with 100% pure cane sugar and fresh lemons.

The new location will be overseen by local resident Maria Perez, who’s been working with the company for nearly a decade.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of opening the newest Miguel’s Jr. location in my hometown,” Perez said in a statement. “As a member of the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce, I also look forward to meeting more of my community and welcoming our guests in to discover their new favorite local Mexican food.”
