Eggs Up Grill, a rapidly growing breakfast, brunch and lunch concept, opened its second Tennessee location in Germantown. The restaurant is the first of three Eggs Up Grill restaurants in development in the Memphis area as the Brand focuses on growth across the region. Eggs Up Grill entered the Tennessee market in 2022 in Johnson City. Altogether, there are more than a dozen restaurants committed to open by franchise partners across the Volunteer State with more markets available for development.

Dana McCubbin is the multi-unit franchisee in partnership with Roseann Heckendorf and Wayland Rice. McCubbin and her husband Lamar are long-time residents of Collierville and first visited Eggs Up Grill in North Carolina and immediately noticed the cheerful service from team members. They felt it was an ideal business opportunity to bring home to Memphis, and specifically, Germantown. McCubbin formerly owned a marketing firm and has spent the last few years raising her family. Her husband currently serves as president of Sissy’s Log Cabin in Memphis.

“What we are bringing to the neighborhood is much more than breakfast, it’s a culture and experience of family and community like no other,” said McCubbin in a statement. “Our goal is to enrich the lives of those around us and make our guests feel like family. We look forward to serving our neighbors from sunup through lunch and we invite everyone to join us.”

Eggs Up Grill is located at 9155 Poplar Avenue in Germantown. The 3600 square-foot restaurant has indoor seating for 144. The Germantown restaurant serves guests seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., with dine-in, online ordering, takeout, catering and delivery options available. It also has a private room available for larger groups or community gatherings called “The Coop.”

Eggs Up Grill caters events big or small, with a menu featuring breakfast favorites like eggs, grits, home fries, biscuits and gravy and muffins. Salads and sandwiches are available for catered lunch.
