The Vibe is a new concept due to install on Adams Avenue, replacing the now-closed SKA Bar. SanDiegoVille reports that behind the update is the same team that introduced Coffee ‘N’ Talk and Meraki Cafe.
Owner Remzi Kaval confirms the news to What Now San Diego about The Vibe, which is set to take over the multi-level location. The space comes complete with an airy indoor/outdoor ground floor dining area in the mixed-use development, with an expansive bar downstairs, and a second bar and seating area on the rooftop.
Kaval operates two Downtown locations of Coffee ‘N’ Talk, plus one University Heights location of Meraki Cafe. Coffee ‘N’ Talk roasts its beans in-house alongside a menu of breakfast and lunch options, including scratch-made pastries, avocado toast, and hearty breakfast bowls.
The Vibe will reportedly make great use of the space with a brunch-focused menu that transitions from morning to afternoon with an expanded menu and bar. The Vibe will also take from its sister businesses and offer handcrafted coffee drinks.
An opening for The Vibe is unclear in its early stage of development. Stay tuned for updates as they become available.
