Operating restaurants all over Las Vegas, ranging from Bonanno’s New York Pizzeria to Trattoria Reggiano, to a number of food courts on the Vegas Strip, Fifth Avenue Restaurant Group is a major force in Las Vegas hospitality.

“Fifth Avenue Restaurant Group operates more than forty restaurants in the Las Vegas area, including the food courts at the MGM Grand, the Venetian, New York New York, the Flamingo Hotel, the Luxor Hotel, the Bally’s Hotel, the Excalibur Hotel, the Monte Carlo Casino and the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino,” says the Fifth Avenue website. “We also operate in Downtown Summerlin, where our famous Trattoria Reggiano and Bonanno’s Restaurant & Bar establishments are located.”

Now, the group is behind a change coming to the New York-New York food hall. Business license paperwork submitted to Clark County by Bonanno Food Courts II, LLC shows plans for restaurant called Uptown Gelato at the resort.

That would mean the New York-New York Food Hall, which is already home to NY Pizzeria, Wing Zone, and Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop, is about to make the always-welcome addition of gelato to its food and drink offerings.

What Now reached out on Thursday to Fifth Avenue Restaurant Group Executive Vice President Robb Bonanno to ask about Uptown Gelato. Bonanno was not immediately available for comment.
