Molti Amici, a new Italian-inspired concept developed by a team of SingleThread alumni, is coming to 330 Healdsburg Avenue—a space many recognize as the former home of the beloved Italian eatery Campo Fina.

According to a recent report by the San Francisco Chronicle, the kitchen will be led by chefs Sean McGaughey and Melissa Yanc  also SingleThread alums — who are known in the Bay Area for their bakery Quail & Condor, and the Troubadour, a sandwich shop by day and French bistro by night.

The Molti Amici menu will boast Neapolitan pizzas, handmade pasta, and main plates like fish and steak. To drink, the eatery plans to offer a wine program centered around Italian and European wines, as well as Italian cocktail classics.

As far as ambiance is concerned, it’s all in the name. Molti Amici’s co-owner, Jonny Barr, tells the San Francisco Chronicle that “molti amici” can be understood in English as “many friends”—a mood that he says Campo Fina radiated, and which he hopes to emulate at Molti Amici.

Molti Amici on Healdsburg Avenue is slated to open this summer.
