Chick-fil-A is growing its California footprint with the launch of a new restaurant in Turlock. The outlet named Chick-fil-A Countryside & Tuolumne will officially open on Thursday, August 6. The locally owned and operated spot will bring the chain’s signature chicken menu while more than 100 jobs.
First Chick-fil-A Arrives in Turlock
The outlet located at 2630 W. Tuolumne Road will welcome its first guests from 6:30 a.m. on August 6. The Turlock community will find dine-in, carry-out, drive-thru, Mobile Thru, and third-party options at the Chick-fil-A restaurant.
The restaurant will be Chick-fil-A’s first location in both Turlock and Stanislaus County. Its operating hours will run from Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Opening Day Details

To celebrate the opening, Chick-fil-A will host a ‘Moove-In Party.’ Guests who stop by the outlet wearing cow-themed costumes may obtain a free entrée or a kid’s meal, while supplies last. Eligible attire includes a full cow costume or a cow-spotted accessory.
Guests can redeem the offer either inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru. Some breakfast offerings include a Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuit, 4-ct Chick-fil-A Chick-n-Minis, or Egg White Grill. The lunch/dinner options include Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, 8-ct Grilled Nuggets, Spicy Chicken Sandwich, 5-ct Nugget Kid’s Meal, or 8-ct Chick-fil-A Nuggets.
Community Initiatives by the Company
The news release shows that more than 100 full- and part-time jobs could be created at the outlet. Team members will have access to training, scholarships, mentorship, and other benefits through Chick-fil-A’s local Owner-Operator model.
As part of the grand opening, the chain will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. The idea is to support hunger relief initiatives across the greater Sacramento-Stockton-Modesto area.
The outlet will also take part in Chick-fil-A’s Shared Table program. This program delivers ample food to local nonprofit organizations to reduce food waste while backing communities in need.
Owner-Operator Brings Local Roots
Christine Murphy is set to be the local owner and operator of the new outlet. She began her Chick-fil-A career in 2021 at a restaurant near Manteca. After learning from local Owner-Operators, she built a passion for leadership and community engagement before continuing operations with her own restaurant.
Having grown up about 20 minutes from Turlock, Murphy said she is keen to serve a community with personal ties. As the first local Owner-Operator to introduce Chick-fil-A to Stanislaus County, she aims to support her team members, create a restaurant where guests feel welcomed, and develop partnerships with local schools and organizations.
