Munchie Bar is set to re-open soon in the Sellwood-Moreland area, located at 1035 SE Tacoma Street, confirmed by the new owner Hayder Al-Naisani.

“We are waiting for an official reopening date as we are pending approval for LLC and liquor licensing,” Hayder told What Now Portland, “I’m venturing into bar ownership for the first time, and I’m eager to bring a fresh perspective to Munchie Bar. We will offer a unique blend of food truck fare and a carefully curated beer and wine selection, catering to the community’s evolving tastes.”

With prior experience in the food sector dating back to 2013, Hayder is accustomed to the dynamic nature of the business. Hayder described Munchie Bar as a small space that focuses on serving beer and wine. Recognizing the importance of staying attuned to customers’ preferences, he plans to experiment with rotating drink offerings and introduce new flavors in collaboration with a local liquor distribution company.

After being closed for over a year, a menu currently is in the works in collaboration with their new bartender. Hayder aims to create a culinary experience that complements the bar’s ambiance.
