According to a recent permit filing, Fox Trot will be taking over what once was The Pied Cow, located at 3244 SE Belmont St.

A representative of Fox Trot was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Portland’s request.

While an official opening date and what Fox Trot plans to offer have yet to be released, according to the permit filing, Fox Trot’s planned days of operation will be every day from 12 PM to 12 AM with some seasonal variations.

Fox Trot will come to the Sunnyside area from Propagate Portland LLC. According to Bizapedia and the filing, Britain Austin Stephens-Kliese is behind both companies. Propagate was incorporated approximately two years ago.

Crexi tells us more about the property itself in a recent listing, stating that the building is mixed-use, with the approximate square footage available to lease being around 3,000. The building was originally built in 1893, with the building having two stories.

“This Southeast Portland mixed-use retail property, “the Pied Cow”, is being offered for sale for the first time in 30 years. The charming main floor, built out as a coffee house and wine bar, is full of historic character. The retail operations are supported by a full basement for storage.”

“The top floor features a unique and spacious one-bedroom apartment with a sitting balcony. Located in the bustling Sunnyside neighborhood, the Pied Cow is a well-maintained building and provides a great opportunity to own a piece of Portland’s history,” the Crexi listing goes on to state.
