Tenant spaces at the upcoming Boulevard Center are quickly filling up, including The Melt, Urban Plates, Philz Coffee, Cold Stone Creamery, a Chip Cookie location, and a nail salon. A fourth tenant, Tasty Dumpling, will join the East Building at The Boulevard at the corner of Howe Avenue and Fair Oaks Boulevard once construction is complete.

Tasty Dumpling currently has a location inside Crocker Village at 3700 Crocker Dr. The family-owned restaurant is known for authentic homestyle Chinese food, including various Baos and dumplings. The menu features items like Xiao Long Bao, a Shanghai dim sum with broth inside, handcrafted steamed and pan-fried dumplings, various Xi’an street foods, side dishes, and different entrees.

With the majority of tenants focusing on fast-casual lunch options like sandwiches, burgers, and healthy bowls, Tasty Dumpling certainly adds some variety to the food options in the upcoming center. Will there be more diverse restaurants joining the center down the road? We cannot say for certain just yet. Most spaces in the center have either been claimed or received letters of intent from interested businesses, and whatever is left is filling up quickly.

What Now Sacramento reached out to Tasty Dumpling’s owner and operations manager Helen Zhang, but hadn’t heard back by the time of this coverage. The east building, which will house Tasty Dumpling, Urban Plates, and Philz Coffee, is anticipated to complete construction in mid-January.
