Festival Marketplace will soon be home to health and wellness concept Living Organik. Opening soon in the shopping mall, which is located at 2900 W Sample Rd, on the southwest corner of the intersection with Northwest 27th Avenue, the brand will offer a variety of health food products and food and offerings.
“It’s a health and wellness cuisine,” owner Lynn Daniel told What Now on Tuesday. “Everything is alkaline and electric food.”
Daniel prefers these terms to the more popular “plant-based,” she says, because they put the focus on the food’s nutritional content.
“It’s about strengthening the immune system, with everything designed for nutritional value,” Daniel said. “You’re not just eating it because ‘it’s vegan.’”
The menu will feature a variety of nutritious—and tasty, and also, for the record, meatless—foods. Living Organik will be one of the only places in South Florida serving AKUA Kelp Burgers and New Wave Plant-Based shrimp.
“Everything is seasonal from the farm to the table,” Daniel said. “We have soups, and we have a lot of mushroom dishes, quinoa, falafel.”
In addition, these foods can often be supplemented with health products Living Organik offers, including minerals like magnesium, copper, and calcium, which—in addition to being good for you—leave you feeling great, Daniel said.
“When you take it, you feel it, you feel alive. Your cells are activated. That’s how we’re supposed to operate.”
