The retail and restaurant community on Griffin Road west of I-95 in Dania Beach will soon be home to a new bar/restaurant concept. Plan review paperwork submitted by Puya Urban Cantina LLC shows a restaurant called Puya Urban Cantina opening at 2750 Griffin Road.

Behind Puya Urban Cantina LLC is Guy Levintin, founding partner, co-CEO, and CFO of BSD Capital. BSD Capital is the force behind various residential and retail developments, including Koosh Living at Griffin, where Puya Urban Cantina is slated to open, as well as Dolce by Wyndham Hollywood, Bahia Beach Lofts, and others.

What Now confirmed news of Puya’s opening with Levintin on Monday. Levintin declined to make any immediate comment on the restaurant project.

News broke earlier this month on the launch of Koosh Living at Griffin: it’s expected to be completed this summer, according to Prime Construction Associates.

“We are grateful to BSD Capital’s founders, Sharon Sharaby and Guy Leventin, for their invaluable partnership, which was pivotal in the development of Koosh Living at Griffin,” Frank Infantino and Nick Theodoropoulos, founders of Prime Construction Associates, said in a press announcement.

Opening on Griffin Road, by the intersection with Southwest 18th Avenue, Puya Urban Cantina will join a culinary community that includes Moran Patisserie Bakery, Pepe’s Street Tacos, Josie’s Too, and Hot Diggity Dogs & More.
