After successfully establishing a location at the Mall of Louisiana this past spring, Street Food Munchies is preparing to add a second location at 8345 Florida Blvd. in Baton Rouge. Owner Lataoya Moore-Jett recently told What Now New Orleans that the second location will allow her to take advantage of having a larger café space.
“This location is going to be bigger and better,” she said. “We have more room now so we can host events, like networking events or paint nights.”
Moore-Jett said the new Street Food Munchies location will offer many of the same dishes as the original, including flatbread pizzas, loaded fries, and seafood baked potatoes. She added that the new café will also offer daily lunch specials, such as red beans and rice and other classic Louisiana foods. While Moore-Jett was reluctant to provide a definitive opening date, she said she’s planning to open by December 2024.
