Michael and Angela Burgess are bringing a taste of St. Louis to Missouri City with their latest venture, Mo City Eatz, set for 1021 Lake Olympia Pkwy #600. The couple previously owned a restaurant in St. Louis and felt a community-driven, homestyle restaurant was missing from their neighborhood. This led to their decision to fill that gap with a welcoming spot that offers dine-in, carry-out, online orders, and delivery services.
“We owned a restaurant in Saint Louis many years ago. We live in the community of Missouri City, Texas, and felt this mom-and-pop-type restaurant was missing from our community,” Michael told What Now Houston.
The menu at Mo City Eatz will showcase a wide blend of flavors, including their signature Honey Hot Wings, the stacked Trash Burger, a Shrimp Po’ Boy featuring crispy shrimp on fresh French bread, and St. Louis-style fried rice. Whether customers are craving juicy burgers, fresh fish, or boldly seasoned wings, the restaurant promises a unique and satisfying dining experience.
The Burgesses plan to open Mo City Eatz in late April 2025, with an official grand opening date and promotions to be announced soon. “We can’t wait to give you a taste of this amazing flavor Missouri City, Texas, has been waiting for,” the couple said.
