According to a recent permit filing, Kobe Hibachi Grill & Ramen aims to debut in Vancouver at 6304 NE Highway 99 #8715.
A representative of Kobe Hibachi Grill & Ramen was unable to provide additional information upon What Now Portland’s request. However, Kobe was filed under Kobe Highway 99 Inc. Four people are listed on the new concept liquor license, with one of the four people being Xuan Xuan Chen, who is the only one out of the four listed on the incorporation business file.
According to Washington Company Search, Kobe Highway 99 Inc. was incorporated on October 28th, 2024. Xuan Xuan is listed to be the governor and incorporation. The search also states that Xuan Xuan Chen is behind four other businesses in Washington state, including Kobe Hibachi Sushi in Yakima. The Yakima location, according to Google, is marked as temporarily closed.
Kobe Hibachi Grill & Ramen looks to be an extension, if not a sister concept, to Kobe Hibachi Sushi. According to Kobe Hibachi Sushi’s website, “We focus on providing healthy, fresh, and natural dishes to satisfy the modern customer’s tastes and needs. Our main specialty cuisines are Japanese.”
“All of our dishes are made with only the freshest ingredients of the highest quality to achieve the best flavors and presentation. Our main ingredients are fresh seafood, fruits, and vegetables. The flavors of our dishes vary by cuisine with our Japanese dishes being more raw and pure.”
