A new ground-up Waffle House is coming to the area at 10111 Macon Rd, marking the second Cordova location of the beloved breakfast chain, and one of many scattered across the Greater Memphis area. Another outlet is also underway in Millington, which is anticipated to open its doors soon. Memphis Area Vice President O.B. Bacon said that the upcoming Cordova location will operate as a corporate-owned restaurant.
Celebrated for its round-the-clock service (open 24 hours a day) and quintessential breakfast fare, Waffle House boasts nearly 2,000 establishments nationwide. Its menu features a delightful array of American classics such as coffee, sausage, eggs, bacon, pancakes, hashbrowns, toast, and of course, waffles. The eatery also offers options for lunch, dinner, and dessert, including Angus burgers, Texas melts, chicken sandwiches, steak dinners, and a couple of pies.
Although details about the new Cordova Waffle House remain scarce, the restaurant is being built on a vacant lot, with construction by Georgia’s Contineo Group slated to commence soon. Stay tuned for updates as more information becomes available.
