Memphis-area golfers, grab your clubs. Helmed by franchisee Jeff Herman, popular indoor golf concept The Back Nine Golf is teeing up a new location in Lakeland, with plans to open before the year is out, reports Daily Memphian.

The facility will be opening at 4846 Village Market Lane as part of Lakeland Town Square. According to a commercial alteration permit filed with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development, The Back Nine will be occupying a 2,161 square foot space.

The establishment is currently under construction, and Herman anticipates being customer-ready in December.

The Back Nine has seen steady growth, becoming a powerful player on the indoor recreation scene. The brand appeals to golf enthusiasts thanks to its use of Full Swing technology, which provides a carefully calibrated simulation of the full golfing experience. Herman explains: “We’re capturing 14 different data points of ball flight along with a video capture as well. It just gives very realistic, course-like play all the way through from your driver to your putter.”
