Memphis-area diners are getting a fresh taste of the Mediterranean. A new restaurant called Zamani Grill has filed papers to open in Cordova, bringing a helping of the popular cuisine to local foodies.
Zamani Grill has submitted an application for a certificate of occupancy with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development for 8195 Dexter Road. The form shows that the eatery will span 2,690 square feet.
Beyond its location and intended cuisine, no information is available about Zamani Grill. The project description is listed as: “the purpose of restaurant use Mediterranean”. The concept does not yet have a digital footprint to shed further light on its eventual opening. The certificate of occupancy remains under review as of November 4, suggesting that while Zamani will likely be customer-ready in the not too distant future, there is still a bit of a wait ahead.
