A new combination Dunkin’ Donuts/Baskin-Robbins restaurant is planned for a new Point Hope shopping center in early 2024.
The coffee chain is the latest business to be confirmed for the growing mixed-use development of Point Hope. It will join a shopping center on Foundation Street off Clements Ferry Rd that will also include Blue Tequila, Modern Movement Yoga, and Ye Old Fashioned Ice Cream Shoppe.
Point Hope is a mixed-use project from DI Development Company, who also developed the Daniel Island community. The first phase of Point Hope, containing single-family homes and retail, opened in 2020. When complete, the expansive development will offer single-family, multifamily, retail and over 1,000 acres of parks and trails open to the public.
The new Dunkin Donuts franchise is being opened by Coastal Franchising LLC, who operates nearly 100 Dunkin’ locations across North and South Carolina, including 14 in the Charleston metro area.
The building is currently under construction, and a representative confirmed to What Now Charleston that the restaurant expects to open in February 2024.
