Taku Sushi is moving forward with its planned location in the Reunion community of Commerce City.
After opening Taku Sushi’s location in Centennial last month, owner Soudchay Phakonekham began moving dining equipment, including sushi boats, into the new space in the Turnberry Marketplace.
Taku Sushi in Commerce City was initially scheduled to open its doors earlier this year, and the grand opening date is still not set.
According to a Facebook post in late September, Taku Sushi was still waiting on approval from health and tri-county departments. The post went on to thank everyone for their patience, adding, “it’ll be worth the wait for we have surprises when we open for this location!”
Fresh flavors will delight restaurant goers. The full-service sushi restaurant offers a variety of sashimi and sushi rolls, with low carb options wrapped with cucumber. Noodle and rice dishes, entrees such as teriyaki chicken, and even a spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and avocado sandwich wrapped in sesame soy paper are options at Taku Sushi.
Taku Sushi will open its second Denver Metro location at 12433 E. 104th Place in Commerce City in the not-too-distant future.
