It appears as if the nearly 20-year-old Larimer Lounge in the RiNo neighborhood of Denver will expand its footprint.
According to a city of Denver permitting application, Larimer Lounge wants to expand into the adjacent space at 2719 Larimer St. by connecting the existing rear patios.
Larimer Lounge was established in 2002 and has hosted hundreds of musical artists over the years including The Killers. Planned modifications to the adjacent space include adding an accessible route along the west side of the building and opening a fence near the back patio to connect the two locations.
Event guests can enjoy local beer, craft cocktails, and food from vendors while taking in a show. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. The space is also available for rental and private events.
Larimer Lounge is located at 2721 Larimer St., Denver, CO 80205. Owner and promoter Scott Campbell did not return What Now Denver’s request for information on when the expansion might be completed.
