According to a press release this week, local ice cream brand Hattie Jane’s Creamery is expanding to Donelson with a new location at 2418 Lebanon Pike later this year.
“Thanks to our loyal ice cream lovers and friends we are able to grow and sprinkle more happiness with our southern-inspired ice cream! We are very grateful to become part of the Donelson community just east of downtown Nashville. This fourth brick-and-mortar shop will be located at 2418 Lebanon Pike near Sunflower Bakehouse and Tennfold Brewing. Our team is beyond thrilled about this and we can’t wait to see y’all there! (In 3-4 months),” states a post from Hattie Jane’s Instagram.
Hattie Jane’s was founded in 2016 by Tennesee native Claire Crowell and is named after her daughter. The women-led creamery focuses on supporting local brands and uses sustainable practices by sourcing milk from a nearby dairy farm and its specialty flavors are made from locally sourced ingredients.
The brand currently has three other locations in the Nashville metro area in Columbia, Murfreesboro, and the downtown Assembly Food Hall. Hattie Jane’s also sells its pints in Nashville grocery stores including Turnip Truck, Whole Foods, and sells specialty boozy ice cream at Red Dog Wine & Spirits.
With vegan and gluten-free flavors available, Hattie Jane’s offers something for everyone and is sure to be a hit in the rapidly-expanding Donelson area.
“The approximately 900-square-foot space is located next to Sunflower Bakehouse in the evolving sector of Lebanon Pike in Donelson, neighboring popular spots like Nectar: Urban Cantina, Tennfold Brewing and Caliber Coffee Co. The property will also feature an outdoor patio space once completed,” states the release.
