The locally loved Vietnamese restaurant from husband-and-wife team Vui and John Hunt will be expanding with its fifth Tenneesee location soon in Nolensville. Vui’s Kitchen will be located at 7238 Nolensville Road and has plans to host a soft opening next month.

Though an official grand opening date has not yet been nailed down, June is the target goal.

Known for authentic Vietnamese pho and bánh mì sandwiches, Vui’s first opened in Nashville’s Berry Hill neighborhood in 2016. Inspired by the cuisine Vui grew up with in Vietnam, the Hunts have put in the effort to develop a menu that uses fresh, whole ingredients while avoiding processed foods and additives like MSG.

The Nolensville location of Vui’s will be the first to feature a drive-thru, which will ensure customers have access to healthy food that is efficient and affordable, with lunch specials starting at $9.49.

What Now Nashville spoke with Vui’s Operations Partner Bruce Doucette about the details of Vui’s Kitchen Nolensville.

“We’re so excited to be expanding in such a great community, we haven’t put up the Vui’s sign at the new location yet but have already been so well-received and welcomed. Our fully-enclosed patio and drive-thru will be the standout features of this location that we’re really excited for,” said Doucette in a phone interview.

Doucette also told What Now Nashville that the general manager of the original Vui’s location at Berry Hill has been with the company for six years, and will move to the new Nolensville location to ensure a smooth training and opening process.
