It’s official: Edley’s is coming to Gallatin, Tennessee. The Nashville-based barbeque joint has decided on the north suburb to bring its 10th location this summer, joining the recently announced location of M.L. Rose right next door at 2145 Nashville Pike, according to recent reporting by the Nashville Business Journal.

“It fits our strategic growth by focusing on the suburbs of Nashville. We’ve opened a few now in the suburbs and feel great about what the guests are telling us, they’re happy we are out there,” Will Newman, founder and owner of Edley’s, told the Business Journal. Newman and M.L. Rose owner, Austin Ray, decided to band together with the help of Southeast Venture CRE to bring their new locations to local Gallatin residents with this shared development.

The NBJ article also notes that the 140-seat, 4,500-square-foot Edley’s will have a patio and a putting green. Known for its slow-roasted, smoked BBQ meats and homemade side dishes like grits casserole, baked beans, and potato salad, Edley’s has been a tried-and-true spot for locals since 2011, when it first opened in the 12 South neighborhood.

The other existing Edley’s locations also include a small retail section for customers to purchase Edley’s branded merch as well as bottled BBQ sauces and spice rubs. The business has also expanded out of state with two locations in Illinois and is poised for additional growth in the future given its widespread success. A location inside The Factory at Franklin will also open soon, reportedly in April.

Customers can be on the lookout for additional details on Edley’s website. An Edley’s representative was not immediately available for comment before publication.
