Slice House franchisee Tyler Ichien is preparing to open his first location in Franklin this spring. However, he has plenty more on the way for the Nashville market.

Ichien shared in a phone interview with What Now Nashville that he plans to open his second location by the end of 2025. He is currently in negotiations for a location in Nashville.

Beyond that, Ichien expects to open more locations in the area, with plans for the first six locations in his multi-unit contract to be spread out across the Greater Nashville market. Neighborhoods of interest include Brentwood and Murfreesboro.

After opening his Nashville locations, Ichien will turn his sights to markets across Tennessee such as Chattanooga, Knoxville, Memphis and Clarksville.

Tony Gemignani founded the San Francisco-based pizza chain in 2010, and the chain has since expanded in the western U.S. Ichien is looking forward to introducing the unique pizza offerings, pasta and wings to Tennessee markets.

“Pizza is pizza, but I think [Tony’s] got a great product and we’ll really focus on the customer service side of things and finding really cool and unique buildings,” Ichien said.
