After recently closing its Mandarin location, Time Out Sports Grill is looking to bounce back with a new location in Northeast Florida.
Owner Matt Harris recently closed the company’s second location at 10140 San Jose Boulevard after being bought out by Players Grille, which will open next month. Time Out Sports Grill will continue to operate from its original location at 13799 Beach Blvd. Harris tells What Now Jacksonville he is looking throughout the Jacksonville area, such as St. Johns and Middleburg, to open a new location. He says he is also working on opening a new fine-dining concept but wasn’t ready to share additional details beyond the idea.
The company’s original location features a wide variety of beer selections, including 29 rotating craft beers on tap and 40+ beer bottles. On top of the countless beer options, the sports bar also offers a huge liquor selection, delicious food, pool tables, and vintage arcade games. What’s more diverse than the drink menu is the food options, which include a dozen classic bar appetizers, wings, tacos, burgers, sliders, burritos, sandwiches, salads, and more.
Time Out Sports Bar, which opened in 2011, recently started offering gourmet ice cream sandwiches called ‘Cream’wiches.’ This delicious treat is a collaboration between Katella Bakery, which has been baking cookies from scratch since 1964, and ice cream from Manhattan Beach Creamery. Time Out Sports Bar also offers happy hour every day from 4: 30 pm to 6:30 pm. More details regarding the fine dining concept are to come soon.
