The June Club is bringing a new private members’ club to Downtown Jacksonville, with plans to turn a historic building into a multi-level destination for dining, drinks, entertainment and socializing.
Founded by Britt Morgan-Saks, The June is planned for the historic Federal Reserve Building at 424 N. Hogan Street in Downtown Jacksonville’s North Core. According to the club’s website, The June is currently listed as ‘coming soon’.
The concept is centered around creating a modern members club with a strong connection to the city around it. The June describes itself as a hospitality and community-focused club designed for people who want to connect with their local community while enjoying an elevated setting.
The club will span several levels of the 1922 Federal Reserve Building, which is being adaptively reused for the project. Plans call for a variety of spaces rather than one traditional dining room, including restaurants, lounges, private dining and areas for meetings and entertainment.
On the ground floor, members will find The Grille, a restaurant with its own bar and kitchen. Above that, the second floor is planned as a living-room-style space with seating, another bar and private dining areas.
A mezzanine level will serve as a library and meeting space, while the third floor is planned for additional lounge seating, a bar and performance space. Outdoor areas will provide space for dining, drinks and lounging as well.
Entertainment will also play a role in the club. Plans for the basement include a cabaret with nightly entertainment, seating and a lounge arranged around a piano.
The project is part of the broader redevelopment taking shape in Downtown Jacksonville’s North Core. The Federal Reserve Building, which dates back more than a century, is being restored and repurposed as part of the area’s ongoing transformation.
The June’s vision goes beyond simply creating another restaurant or bar. Its website describes the club as a city-focused community where members share an interest in their hometown and want to contribute to its growth.
Morgan-Saks relocated to Jacksonville from New York and developed The June with plans to eventually grow the concept beyond its first location. The Jacksonville club is intended to serve as the flagship for the brand.
The project’s build-out and renovation carry an estimated $6.4 million price tag. The city issued permits for the work in February 2025, covering the renovation of roughly 18,430 square feet across the building, including the basement.
The June’s team includes New York-based Ward + Gray for interior design, Elysium Construction and Gardiner & Theobald for construction and interior work, and Jacksonville-based Robbins Design Studio as architect of record.
For now, the club is keeping membership and other operating details under wraps as work continues. Its website remains focused on the upcoming arrival and allows prospective members to inquire and sign up for updates.
With its combination of dining, drinks, entertainment and private spaces inside one of Downtown Jacksonville’s historic buildings, The June is shaping up to be a new addition to the city’s growing social scene.
