According to recent reporting in JDR, construction of Electric Dough Pizza Co. at 1996 San Marco Blvd. is just “a few months away from completion.”

The restaurant will be the newest development of chef Tom Gray’s CuliVino Hospitality Management and Consulting company. The team has hired ai3 Architecture and Urban Partners Construction to execute the project.

The roughly 4,200-square-foot space will feature a new bar, new tables and fresh walls that will sit beneath the theater’s 20-foot ceilings supported by original 1930s exposed brick walls, JDR reports.

“There are details from the building that we’re trying to give a nod back to its history while bringing a new, modern look to it,” Gray told the Business Journal. “And this juxtaposition also speaks to our pizza dough.”

“Opening Spring 2025 in historic San Marco, Jacksonville, Florida, from Chef Tom Gray. Stay tuned for details!” the official website states.
