According to a recent permit filing, Roy Southern Thai Cuisine aims to debut in Phinney Ridge at 6114 Phinney Avenue N.

Behind the permit filing is NHL Corporation, specifically Pricha Jaopliphon. Additional information was not provided at this time upon What Now Seattle’s request.

When doing some research on Roy Southern Thai Cuisine, it looks like there is a Roy Thai Cuisine in Federal Way. Roy Thai Cuisine’s website states “We serve only the freshest and finest ingredients. Here at Roy Thai Cuisine, you will experience the liveliness and excitement of our exhibition kitchen.”

The address that Roy Southern Thai Cuisine has filed for was once home to Arc Restaurant & Lounge, which Google has marked as permanently closed. Yelp describes Arc as “A restaurant lounge in the Phinney neighborhood. Latin/Korean fusioninspired plates with a vegetable focus,” and has also marked the concept as closed.

Now, the space is currently occupied by Kub Kao Kub Kam Thai Eatery, which is also marked as closed by Yelp. The concept is described as a “…Thai Eatery and Bar served Authentic Thai food with the real taste of Thai ingredients.”
