The fast-casual chain Salad and Go is planning to introduce a new location at 2810 SE Military Drive. According to a recent permit application, the company will construct a new, 875-square-foot building, with Rogue Architects handling the design. The job is estimated to cost around $300,000.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the concept, Salad and Go is known for bringing “salads and more to the drive-thru with blazing fast, friendly service and a fresh crunch of whole-food goodness.” On the menu are salads, wraps, and soups — as well as breakfast items like burritos and bowls served with house-made salsa.

With more than 80 locations nationwide, and further expansion planned for 2023, Salad and Go is quickly becoming a major player in the fast-food industry — “shaking things up by making meals that are not only convenient and affordable, but good for [its] guests and the local communities.”

Loren Brown of Salad and Go’s PR team shares with What Now San Antonio that San Antonio residents can expect the Military Drive location to open in eight to twelve months.
