The fast-casual drive-thru salad chain expands in San Antonio

With a new location planned for the Far West Side, Salad and Go is continuing its expansion in San Antonio. According to a recent filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration, the fast-casual salad chain will be construction a drive-thru location at Reid Ranch & Potranco Rd.

Per the filing, the new location will continue the chain’s “drive-thru revolution” with small-footprint store at just a 875-square-foot coverage. The estimated $300,000 project will begin construction in June and complete in October this year. What now San Antonio recently reported that the chain has plans for a location on Military Drive as well.

Right now, Salad and Go has around 80 locations all over the nation—but it plans to boost that number to 125 by the end of the year, according to a recent report from QSR magazine. The company recently entered the Oklahoma and Nevada markets in the tail end fo 2022 and early 2023 respectively, and its growth forecast continues on an upward trend.

The company is led by CEO Charlie Morrison, who previously served as the CEO for Wingstop, a Dallas-based wings chain. Morrison was not immediately available for comment.

The restaurant aims to bring healthy, affordable, and accessible options to communities everywhere and serves up fresh salads, wraps, soups, and beverages from its various drive-thru locations. By combining the convenience of a fast-food location without sacrifices on the nutritious nature of their meals, the company is aiming to shake up the fast food game.
