According to The Herald-ZeitungPotbelly is expanding to New Braunfels.

“While the location has not been built yet, Potbelly franchisee Dora Braun said there are plans for the newest shop to be located at New Braunfels Town Center at Creekside,” the Journal reports.

“I have to wait on the actual landlord to build out the leasing area,” Braun says. She adds, “So I would think probably a year from now… if everything goes by plan and they actually get going with their timeframe, I think that would be probably the soonest.”

For readers who are unfamiliar with the franchise, according to its website, “Potbelly was founded in 1977 in Chicago, and its name refers to the potbelly stove. Potbelly’s menu features a variety of sandwiches that are all served hot,” including items such as the Chicken Club, Italian Sandwich, and Mama’s Meatball.
